Ayodele Adinlewa is the provost of the Millennium College of Health Technology Akure. She is a public Health Specialist with background in Environmental Health. She graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile I've in 1987 with First Class Honours in Environmental Health. In addition to this, she had certificate in Health Planing and Management, Diploma in Health System Management and a Masters degree in Business Administration. She also had a Masters degree in Public Health from the University of Benin in 2012. Before devoting her work fulltime to Millennium College, Ayodele served the Ondo State Government meritoriously for thirty five (35) years and retired as a Director in the Ministry of Health. During her service years, she served as a health education officer, a health planning officer and a two time project manager of World Bank Assisted Health System Development Projects I & II from inception to the very end. She also had a stint a lecturing at the Ondo State School of Health Technology for about three (3) years where she gathered experience in dealing with students and impacting the necessary skills and knowledge to function effectively as health officers in their various courses of study.
A goal getter par excellence, her major strength lies in the fact that she strives for excellence in whatever she does, and at the sane time instilling discipline and a sense of unity of purpose in both her colleagues and subordinates. As a result of her wealth of experience in World Bank Projects and the success recorded while in service, she was also appointed as a state Consultant for Saving One Million Lives (SOML) Project in the year 2018 to 2019 shortly before she was appointed the provost of the College in December 2019. She is married with children.
